The word "thanksgiving" appears dozens of times in English language Bibles. This makes sense because it is a book about God and His relationship with His people... and God's people ought to give Him thanks.
A simple truth occurred to me as I thought about "thanksgiving." You must "have" something before you can "give" it. So, we have to be thankful in order to give thanks.
Let us remember that it is always the season for God's people to ponder what He has done and pour out thanksgiving to Him for doing it.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving and thanks be to the God the Father. God the Son. And God the Holy Spirit!
