Rev. Rock Prayer Project 11/12/13

Today I prayed on Marshall Ave. and East Lake Street. Those of you familiar with the Twin Cities know that this is actually one stretch of road; Lake Street on the Minneapolis side and Marshall Ave. on the St. Paul side or the mighty Mississippi River. I prayed that just as the bridge connects these two cities, people here would see the cross as a connection to God.... I will refrain from defining which city represents sinful humankind and which represent the holy heavens in this metaphor. Interestingly, as I was praying I saw a huge cloud shaped like a spire (or more accurately a pillar) extending from the horizon into the heavens. I tried to take a photo of the cloud but it did not turn out very clearly. Fortunately, I was able to get a photo of the ironically named Leviticus Tattoo shop on East Lake Street.
