Rev. Rock Prayer Project 11/10/13

Today I prayed along 35th Street East in Minneapolis. Initially, I planned to take food to a homeless/unemployed person but I did not see any people at the usual corners. Then the Lord used a brilliant sunset to draw my attention to the west. I did not know what to pray (since my plans were changed) so I simply told God, "I don't know what to say." He ushered me into a time of quiet contemplation and conversation about all the good in our world. This was a welcome retreat from all the bad news we are constantly bombarded with each day. Praise God for His goodness!
