Rev. Rock Prayer Project 10/3/13
Today I prayed on Minnehaha Avenue. I prayed for the people, businesses, and churches to have their best days ahead of them. I prayed for homes to be blessed and families to be safe. As I traveled along the road I began to notice the vast variety represented by the structures along Minnehaha. There are grocery stores, a Target, schools, churches, restaurants, gas stations, a police station, 2 strip malls, a clinic, a funeral home, houses, apartments, condos, apartments and much more. As I prayed over these places a strange thought occurred to me. Although Minnehaha Avenue is only a few miles long, a person could live, attend school, work, shop, and even have their funeral service on this road. Essentially one could live an entire life on Minnehaha Ave. That was quite an eye opener! The tank mural is on the VFW Building.
