Rev. Rock Prayer Project 10/28/13

Today I traveled the streets praying for the homeless in our city. The forecast calls for cold weather, snow, and rain this week so I prayed for God to provide protection and provide for the people on the streets. As I went past Powderhorn Park I saw this barrel of salt sand that was already out in preparation for the inevitable drop in temperature and the ice and snow which will accompany it. I thought about all the people in this city who do not have the provisions to eat tomorrow much less any preparation for the cold weather. Please pray for the homeless in our city. It is going to be a long, cold winter... the parks may be ready but these people are not.
