Rev. Rock Prayer Project 10/30/13

A short time before I began this prayer ministry, I remember praying and asking God to put me in situations where I could be effectively used for His Kingdom. He spoke to my heart and told me that my primary ministry is to be a father to my son. I ask you to pray that I never forget this message.
My little boy, Antioch, has been my prayer partner in the Rev. Rock Prayer Project since day one. He walks with me on prayer walks and rides along when we travel by car. All the while he is patient, joyful, and easily "paid" in apple slices from the McDonalds drive-thru. He came with me to work today and I was reminded by two separate people (who had kids old enough to be in college) to enjoy the time I have with him while he is young... because the years will fly by. I am thankful for my son/prayer partner/primary ministry. I ask for your prayers for me to be the best father I can possibly be.

Here is a photo from our prayer drive this afternoon- we prayed for all the sons and fathers in our city. By the way- Please pray that this is the only time Antioch will ever spend in the back seat of a police car!
