Rev. Rock Prayer Project 10/23/13

Today I prayed for our city on the way to and from church services but it was what came in between that was memorable. When I arrived at the building, I asked the visitor's in Grannys' Closet (a neighborhood freestore), "What's the good word?" One man immediately responded, "Jesus!" Another quoted Psalm 46:10,"Be still and know that I am God." I took heed of this good word and went into the pastor's office to pray. I had a great time of introspective prayer as I let those precious words sink into my soul.
