Around this time last year we were finishing up "Hymn-tober" and getting ready for a November full of guest preachers. The blessings of both of those months still resonate in my Spiritual life and history with New Hope Baptist Church. This year we find ourselves on the verge of another exciting change in our Sunday worship service. Beginning Nov. 3, our worship service will have several changes- more prayer (the service will open and close with prayer and have a time of corporate prayer as well), the sermon will be broken into 2 parts (an introduction and conclusion separated by a relevant song), The Lord's Supper will be observed every week, and a time of testimony. Testimony time will be the most "radical" inclusion as it will be completely spontaneous.... even the music will be improvised.
Nov. 3rd is also the launch date for my plan to preach the Bible from beginning to end. Please pray for God to be honored and blessed on Sunday nights at New Hope Baptist Church! I invite you all to come and be a part of the new things God is doing in His house.
