Rev. Rock Prayer Project 9/27/13

Today I observed "FFF" (Final Friday Fast). I began the day early and had the honor of giving the devotional with a mission team from South Dakota at 6:30 AM. I took a long prayer walk with my son this afternoon. I prayed especially for Shannon. She visited our church for the first time on Sunday and asked for prayer for healing from cancer. Please pray for Shannon.

I also prayed that God would refresh my spirit and keep me focused on the ministry He has called me to. Preaching the Word and reaching out to the homeless and jobless. Please pray for me to be steady in His presence and grow in faith daily.

I am amazed by how much I have learned about our city its people through this prayer ministry. Although I have always lived in a zip code beginning with "554," this past month has proven that you can teach an old dog new tricks.
