Rev. Rock Prayer Project 9/29/2013

Today I prayed with Jerry. When I approached him and asked how he was doing he responded, "Been better." He has been on the streets for 3 months and has a son in Afghanistan and a daughter in Australia. He was happy to receive a meal but elated when I told him that hundreds of people (you all) would be praying for him. His response to your prayers was, "I sure need it." Jerry is worried about the possibility of a government shutdown which would result in a delay of his monthly check. He did appear to be physically ill and, in fact, told me he is in need of a kidney transplant. Jerry blessed me by telling me he recognized me because he has seen me doing this ministry. Pray for Jerry today. Tell your friends and family to pray for Jerry today. Tell your churches to pray for Jerry today.
