"Joy to the World, The Lord has Come"
Bishop Stephen Neal says "It was because they were joyful people, that the early Christians were able to conquer the world" I wonder what joyful Christians could accomplish today. We seem so busy approaching the world, with the "touch not, taste not, see not" attitude. To all that is not Christian, our vigilance (which is necessary), sometimes overrides our joyfulness, and people see us as sombre people, walking on morale eggshells and spiritual dilemma.
"Joy to the World, the Savior Reigns"
Christians ought to be Spirit-led, relaxed, and joyful; demonstrating the joy of the Lord wherever they are or whoever they are with. Jesus said, "I have overcome the world". The world today is by and large joyless, freedoms are lost, the right to earn a decent living grudged, thousands living in despair. However, for the Christian this should not matter. The source of our joy is spiritual not circumstantial.
Remember- Happiness comes from happenings… Joy comes from Jesus.
"Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy."
