Dateline: Minneapolis
It took 1 year of ministry school, 4 years of Bible College, 4 years of secular college and 2 years of seminary but it has been worth it. In my final seminar class I heard what may be the most eye opening, gut checking, pride convicting quote yet-
"The greatest obstacle to knowledge of the Bible is... knowledge of the Bible." - Dr. Robert Smith Jr.
Here are my suggestions-
Whenever you study the Scriptures, do not assume you know everything there is to know about the text.
When you pick up a your daily devotional don't guess that you have the lesson "figured out."
Don't tune out when your preacher is preaching John 3:16 (or other well known passages).
Above all- let the Holy Spirit bring you fresh Biblical knowledge EVERY-TIME you read the Holy Word of God!
