Here is our prayer/praise list for September 2014-
Praise- we are so thankful for the great work done by the construction team from New Standard in South Dakota and Kansas. As a result of their calling and service to the Lord, we have a brand new bathroom on our main floor and a brand new fence in the parking lot. Also, they blessed one of our neighbors by painting her house, building a new back porch and repairing the roof on her home. When I saw her at a community meeting last week she called me the "man of the year." While I appreciate the compliment I gave all the glory to Jesus and His faithful servants for all they have done!
Praise- big blessings from the great state of Mississippi! They came and did a great week of VBS and redid our third floor bathroom! We had lots of kids every day and many new ones. There were so many cultures represented by the crowds it was like a slice of heaven!
Prayer- for the Spirit of God to fall heavy on South Minneapolis.
Prayer- for everyone ion the Phillips West Recovery Group to grow together.
Prayer- for me as I continue my studies in Expository Preaching. My sole desire is to preach the Word of God effectively in this time of turmoil in our world.
