Today I am thankful for the Bible. I am thankful that the Bible contains supernatural qualities and truths understood only by faith. I am glad the Bible is unique. I am thankful that the lessons in the Bible seem odd and otherworldly... and that they counter today's culture. Reading the Bible gives me hope. Doing what the Bible says renews me... gives me rest, and respite. This world will always be different than the Bible and the Bible will always be different than this world. I am thankful that the Bible is a force for change in my life. What a glorious gift we have in the Word of God!
