I have a special prayer request. Please pray for our Wednesday night services and ministries. A heavy dose of criminal activity in the area earlier this summer seemed to scare away many of our regulars and our attendance has yet to recover. We did reach high marks with Bible Club and VBS but now we seemed to have leveled off on the low side again. The criminal activity has been abated but in the midst of the calm we also saw new Somali families move into houses on the block. So far, the people groups have not integrated at all. Which leads to my second special prayer request- please pray that God use the members of this church as ambassadors of unity in this neighborhood.
