"Imperfect people Serving a Perfect God"

I ask for your prayers as I will be starting a new ministry next week. I will be going to the homeless people on the street corners (you know, the ones holding the signs at intersections) to bring them food and water, get to know their stories, and pray for them. I have heard all sorts of negativity about this group of people (they are all drunks, scam artists, etc.) but I want to know the truth about them and let them know that God loves them so much that He sent His only Son to die for their sins.
I will try to get to 1-2 people per. week. I will be using MWBC hunger funds to provide for the ministry (big thanks to the cooperative program) to buy prepacked meals and bottled water. Also, I will be in full regalia (priest shirt and collar- I am thinking of buying a cassock for winter) so I will be easily recognizable.
The Lord has really put this group of people on my heart. So many people (including the police and our own conscience) tell us to avoid them. However, the Lord has told me to go to them.
