"Imperfect people Serving a Perfect God"
Dateline: Phillips West
The MN State Fair starts tomorrow which means that summer is coming to an end as well. In the mad rush to take advantage of the sunshine and decent temperature, we participated in what I affectionately dubbed, "The 3 busiest weeks of the year" at New Hope Baptist Church. There was day camp, VBS, cookouts, a concert, construction, outreach, and new evangelistic contacts. As I reflected on these 3 weeks, I realized how big a project it was and that every aspect was made possible by partnerships. There were 4 churches involved, donors from others states, The North American Mission Board, the Twin Cities Metro Baptist Association, and your prayers. Everyone came together to serve the Lord in different ways. This entire project was coordinated, funded, and completed by these partners and I am so thankful for them. It is times like this that remind we not alone when we do God's work.
Please pray a prayer of thanksgiving for these partners. Please pray that the work they did would continue to make an impact on our ministry. Please pray that the all the people we met during these three weeks would come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
