"I always thank my God when I mention you in my prayers" Philemon 4. This verse is frequently (and appropriately) used when giving thanks to a fellow Christian. It is an encouraging verse and certainly would warm someone's heart. After all, what better way to remember someone and give thanks for them than by doing so in our most inimate communion with God- our personal prayer time. I do give thanks for all of you when I mention you in my prayers.
"Because I hear of your love and faith toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints" Philemon 5. This is one reason why we can be thankful for other believers- their love and faith for Jesus and His saints. So many of you have proven your love for our Lord and His saints! Thank you for your faithfulness to the Gospel and for your love, generosity, support, and for His church and His people. Thank you for letting me see your faith and love in action!
"I pray that your participation in the faith may become effective through knowing every good thing that is in us for the glory of Christ" Philemon 6. Oh Lord, may you work through everyone reading this newsletter in a powerful way for Your Kingdom, Your goodness, and Your glory!
