We had a great Hymntober! Big thanks to the congregation for singing so beautifully to the Lord each and every Sunday night. We will continue to sing 2 hymns per. week (with one of them having their story of origin read. I am calling this "Hymn History"). Plus, we have some great preachers coming over the next few week, too! Win "Clint" Calvert on 11/4, Dr. Stan McFall on 11/11, Joe Burton on 11/18, Jim Willard on 12/3 and 12/9 (perhaps 12/16 as well).
You may be asking yourself, "When do you preach Jake?" The answer is every Wednesday night at 6:15. I am so thankful for these preachers coming in and allowing me to have some time off during the week to do some remodeling on my house.
We are having a party for the neighborhood kids tonight. Please pray that God would bless this get together and that the Bible story and fellowship would bless their little hearts.
