We had a great time together and learned much during the Wednesday night Worldviews class at New Hope Baptist. Thank you to all the students in the class. You all did a great job!
As for now, we are back to a full hour of prayer each Wednesday night from 7-8PM. Tonight we will be praying for our nation and using God's promises for tough times as a guideline for prayer. You can see the verses by clicking on the website here http://www.inallthingspray.net/godspromises.asp
Hymntober is off to a good start on Sunday nights and the congregation sounded great last week! This week we will have Dr. Steve Melvin playing piano for the service and he will be preaching the Word as well. Our Hymns will be In Christ Alone, Blessed Assurance, He Lives, Revive Us Again, The Solid Rock, and Great is Thy Faithfulness. Worship is from 7:15-8:30PM Sunday night.
We have a great line up of preachers for the Sunday night service in the coming weeks.As mentioned previously, Steve Melvin will be preaching this Sunday (10/14). Then we have Joe Burton on 10/28, Clint Calvert on 11/4, and Dr. Stan Mcfall on 11/11. Come and join us in song and hear the messages God has given these men, for such a time as this.
