Dateline: Learning to wait....
One night after exiting our car, I realized that I had to go back to get something from the trunk. I told my 7 year old son to go on ahead while I went back to the car... Fully expecting him to run straight down the block and up to the house, I was surprised to see him standing alone in the dark and holding the front gate open for me. I was even more surprised when he said, "I waited for you daddy, even though it is dark and scary, I waited for you."
Remember to wait for God.... especially when going through a dark and scary time in your life.
Psalms 27:14 - Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
