The word "love" is found some 443 times in the Bible. Sometimes the word pertains to love between people and each other. Sometimes it refers to people and ways/things or people and sin/false gods. It often records the love people have for God Almighty; and frequently refers to the love of God towards people... which is what I want to consider today. Here is a list of every verse in which I found the Bible telling us whom (and/or what) God loves. Yes, it is a long list but how reassuring is it to know that God's love is all over the Bible! In fact, there were so many verses about God's love that it took me the better part of 2 hours to compile it, even while using every technological advantage I had (online Bible concordance, Office cut and paste, etc.).
