There may be nothing more irritating than when your car is acting up, you take it to a mechanic, and they cannot diagnose the problem. You know your car better than anyone and you know something is wrong with it; but unless the faulty part is discovered, there will be no repair. You leave the shop no better than you arrived, even more annoyed at your vehicle. Plus, the annoyance caused by your car's stubborn (and mysterious) issue has now extended to a garage full of mechanics…
Isn't it comforting to know that when we have trouble in our soul we can call on God to diagnose and repair the problem? Through His Holy Spirit and His Holy Word we can find the root of the issue and He can fix it. Be it sin, fear, hopelessness, anger, arrogance, pride, loneliness, dissatisfaction, weariness or anything else. God knows you better than anyone and He wants you to "run right." Call on Him… His "repair shop" never closes.
