A prayer request for all of us-
During the course of my doctoral studies I interviewed a woman who loves Jesus. In fact, she loves Jesus so much that it is blatantly obvious. Anyone who talked to her would certainly walk away saying, "That woman really LOVES Jesus!" As I reflected on my conversations with her, I began to think about other people I have met who shared this awesome character trait (that is, being totally and unashamedly in love with Jesus). Have you ever met someone like this? Someone who just flat-out loves Jesus? Unfortunately, this reflection also revealed the fact that in 10 plus years of ministry I probably should have happened to meet more people who really LOVE Jesus.
I gave this woman a prayer request; that she would pray for me to love Jesus as much as she did. Would you please pray this, too? Can we all pray for each other, ask others to pray for us, and pray for God to make us people who are flat- out, unashamedly and totally in love with Jesus?
