Here is our prayer list for August 2015-
Pray- For the TCMBA Prayer Summit this Sunday (8/9) from 2-4PM at Southtown Baptist Church. Our theme is "pray the Scriptures." May God work a mighty revival in our hearts as we lift up our churches, our cities, and ourselves to the Lord Almighty!
Praise- For the great VBS we had thus week. May God bless the volunteers and grow the seeds they planted.
Praise- For National Night Out. We reached many people in the senior citizens hi-rise and many more people on the streets. Our NNO is the biggest in the world so may God yield a big harvest, too!
Pray- For the baptism this Sunday at Don Delich's cabin. Pastor Don and I will be baptizing people together in the lake.
Pray- For me as I will be preaching at Bethel Baptist Church on 8/16 and am preparing messages for Labor Day weekend (I will be preaching at the annual retreat for Minnesota Christian Fellowship of the Blind.)
Pray- For Brittany as she leads the worship team at Bethel Baptist Church on Sunday mornings and at New Hope on Sunday and Wednesday nights. She needs extra prayer because the one constant team member she has between the two churches is yours truly....
Pray- For the family of Marietta Thore. Marietta passed away and is now with the Lord. She was 91 years old and lived a godly life. Many of you knew her because she served as a MSC worker at New Hope and was also a good friend of the TCMBA. Her daughter told me the funeral was a celebration with a heavenly feast. Marietta was a treasure. She was a good friend to me and we communicated every month by letter (yes, in the mail with a stamp and everything). I will sure miss my "pen pal."
