In a recent prayer session I asked God to help me make an impact for Him in this city. He spoke to me and said, "It is Me that makes an impact, not you."
The first Biblical prayer of 2014 is a request from me to you. Philemon 6 says, "I pray that your participation in the faith would become effective through knowing every good thing that is in us for the glory of Christ." Please pray this verse for me.
This morning, while I was praying over this verse I began to reflect on "every good thing that is in me for the glory of Christ." I would not be a husband or a father without Christ. I would not be a pastor without Christ. I would not be a college graduate, nor a college instructor, without Christ. I would not be trusted or trustworthy without Christ. I would not be writing this today without Christ. All these are testimonies of His glory. Please pray for many, many, many more
